At Harvest Feed & Agro Processing, we specialize in transforming cassava into high-quality, versatile products for both the food and agricultural industries. Our primary offerings include Venus Cassava “edible” starch and Venus cassava offals, catering to diverse sectors such as food manufacturing, livestock feed production, and organic farming.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Accountant
Location: Ogun
Job type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Record, reconcile, and report daily financial transactions; maintain general ledger.
- Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and expense claims.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements, budget variance analyses, and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations; file statutory returns.
- Conduct internal audits, cash‑flow forecasting, and support external auditors.
- Assist in cost‑control, pricing, and inventory valuation for feed & agro‑processing operations.
Qualifications
- Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years accounting experience in manufacturing/agro‑processing or similar industry.
- Proficiency in ERP (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), Excel, and accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of tax, VAT, and statutory deductions.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork abilities.
