Our primary offerings include Venus Cassava “edible” starch and Venus cassava offals, catering to diverse sectors such as food manufacturing, livestock feed production, and organic farming.

Job Title: Technical Operator

Location: Ogun

Role Overview

• The Technical Operator will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machinery to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
• Role requires sound technical knowledge, strong attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machines and equipment efficiently and safely.
• Carry out basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs when required.
• Report machine faults, abnormalities, and maintenance needs promptly.
• Support preventive maintenance activities as directed by the Engineering team.
• Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of machines and the production area.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to achieve production targets.
• Ensure compliance with quality and hygiene standards during production.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates should possess an OND, HND, or Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years’ hands-on experience as a Technical or Machine Operator in a food manufacturing or agro-processing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to detect and correct minor faults.
• Familiarity with safety procedures, machine calibration, and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
