We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Research Technician III

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: 2-year renewable contract
Duties
- Assist in the setup of livestock feed and black soldier fly (BSF) trials.
- Support the technical team in maintaining a hygienic environment on the ILRI farm.
- Support the Veterinary team in maintaining the well-being of the livestock on the ILRI farm.
- Provide support for the collection and processing of fodder for livestock.
- Provide support with the production of livestock feed on the ILRI farm.
- Assist in compliance with daily activities on the ILRI research farm.
- Provide support with the production of high-quality cassava peels.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- National Diploma in Agriculture, Animal Production and any other related course of study.
- The ideal candidate must have minimum of five (5) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.

- Be able to communicate clearly with others, both in writing and speaking
- Have the ability to write simple and clear reports.
- Be able to collaborate effectively with others and as a team member.
