Now Hiring: Social Media and Digital Communications Expert at Cegoi Agri Consult
The Social Media Expert will manage CEGOI AgriConsult’s digital presence and engagement across all major platforms (X/Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn). This role requires someone who is tech-savvy, creative, and highly active online — capable of building brand authority, fostering engagement, and generating leads through meaningful, data-driven campaigns.
They will also coordinate live digital conversations such as X (Twitter) Spaces, mini-podcasts, and online chats that connect CEGOI with creators, partners, and clients, positioning the company as a thought leader in the agricultural consulting space.
Location: Remote / Hybrid
Type: Contract / Part-Time (with potential to transition to full-time after pilot)
Key Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Management:
- Develop and execute a monthly content plan aligned with CEGOI’s goals and agribusiness calendar.
- Design or coordinate visual content (images, short videos, infographics, and reels).
- Maintain consistent posting schedules and monitor engagement metrics.
- Digital Campaigns:
- Plan and run social media campaigns to boost visibility and client acquisition.
- Use analytics to track growth, engagement, and conversion performance across platforms.
- Present monthly performance reports and actionable insights.
- Community Engagement:
- Host and moderate X (Twitter) Spaces or mini live sessions with agribusiness experts, clients, or influencers.
- Interact daily with followers, respond to inquiries, and build CEGOI’s online community.
- Collaborate with the Lead Agronomist to feature field updates, project milestones, and client success stories.
- Brand & Public Relations:
- Maintain a consistent, professional brand tone across all digital channels.
- Coordinate digital partnerships with other agricultural organizations or creators.
- Assist in shaping CEGOI’s digital storytelling through blogs, short podcasts, and email newsletters.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
- Proven track record (portfolio or analytics screenshots) showing successful social media campaigns or account growth.
- Proficiency in using Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or similar scheduling and analytics tools.
- Excellent copywriting, storytelling, and visual communication skills.
- Strong understanding of content trends on Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, and emerging platforms.
- Comfortable hosting online discussions (Twitter/X Spaces, IG Live, or similar).
- Basic graphic design or Canva skills are a plus.

- Social media engagement growth (followers, interactions, impressions)
- Quality and frequency of campaigns executed
- Leads or client inquiries generated through digital channels
