Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Role Overview

  • Our client seeks a dynamic, results-driven professional in the Agricultural sector seeks an experienced Sales Manager to unlock business opportunity in his/her designated coverage area, and to generate sales Order as well as exceed sales target.

Keyt Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Identifying potential customers, increasing market reach, ensuring steady sales growth in his designated coverage area, submitting daily, weekly and monthly reports,
  • Generating sales order from existing and new customers,
  • maintaining good relationship with customers,
  • converting prospects to customers,
  • working together with the sales team,
  • monitoring and submitting intelligent reports of activities of our competitors in the market
  • Convert inquiries into confirmed sales, ensuring achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and after-sales service.
  • Design and implement sales campaigns (with support from the marketing team) to drive client acquisition.
  • Provide weekly sales and pipeline reports to management.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, Agric Economics, Marketing, Agriculture, Business Administrative or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years
  • Strong understanding of the Feed mill industry and market.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Must have good understanding of his terrain.

Salary
N120,000 basic pay plus N280k float.
