Job Title: Marketer

Job Summary

• The Marketing Officer will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that promote the company’s agrochemical products, strengthen brand awareness, and drive sales growth.
• This role involves market research, product positioning, promotional planning, and close coordination with the sales and technical teams to ensure market penetration and customer satisfaction in the agricultural sector.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Planning:

• Develop and implement annual marketing plans aligned with company objectives.
• Identify target markets, customer segments, and product positioning opportunities.
• Plan and manage marketing budgets to ensure cost-effective campaigns.

Market Research & Analysis:

• Conduct field surveys, competitor analysis, and market intelligence on agrochemical trends.
• Gather farmer and distributor feedback to guide product development and promotional activities.
• Monitor pricing, market share, and regional performance.

Product Promotion & Branding:

• Design and execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and field demonstrations.
• Develop marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, posters, and digital content.
• Ensure consistent branding across all marketing channels (print, digital, and field).

Sales Support & Distribution:

• Collaborate with the sales team to generate leads and enhance customer acquisition.
• Support dealer/distributor engagement through incentive programs and training sessions.
• Coordinate product exhibitions, farmer meetings, and agricultural fairs.

Digital & Communication:

• Manage social media, website updates, and digital advertising for product awareness.
• Develop and distribute newsletters, press releases, and success stories.
• Track campaign performance through digital analytics tools.

Reporting & Performance Evaluation:

• Prepare monthly marketing performance reports.
• Evaluate ROI for campaigns and suggest improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of marketing activities and budgets.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field.
• 2 – 5 years of marketing experience in the agrochemical or agribusiness sector.
• Strong knowledge of crop protection products, fertilizers, and farming systems.
• Experience in market analysis, branding, and promotional campaign management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and digital marketing tools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively to rural and agricultural areas.

Salary
N100,000 – N200,000 / Month.
