Job Title: General Manager (Farming / Fishery Sector)

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Summary

• We are seeking a result-driven General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our farming and fishery business.
• The ideal candidate will manage production, staff, budgets, and overall performance to ensure growth, efficiency, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day farm and fishery operations.
• Plan and implement production schedules to meet business targets.
• Supervise and train farm and fishery staff to ensure optimal productivity.
• Monitor stock levels, feed usage, and overall farm resources.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and prepare financial and operational reports.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement best farming and fishery practices.
• Report operational performance and key issues to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Agriculture, Aquaculture, Fisheries, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a managerial role within farming or fishery operations.
• Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
• Good understanding of modern farming or aquaculture techniques.
• Excellent communication and team management skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities.

Salary
N200,000 monthly.
