We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Poultry Hand

Location: Masaka / Uke, Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Practical poultry experience — Hands‑on experience with broilers or layers; knows basic husbandry routines.
  • Biosecurity awareness — Strict adherence to entry protocols, disinfection, and disease prevention.
  • Animal handling skills — Calm, safe handling of chicks and adult birds to minimise stress and injury.
  • Feeding and watering competence — Able to mix, distribute feed, check drinkers, and monitor consumption.
  • Health monitoring — Recognises common signs of disease, dehydration, or distress and reports promptly.
  • Litter and house maintenance — Cleans, replaces litter, and maintains hygiene to control ammonia and pests.
  • Basic recordkeeping — Records mortalities, feed use, water consumption, and daily observations accurately.
  • Physical fitness and reliability — Able to lift, walk long shifts, start early, and maintain punctual attendance.
  • Teamwork and communication — Follows instructions, works under supervision, and reports issues clearly.
  • Willingness to learn and follow SOPs — Accepts training, follows protocols, and supports continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess an OND / SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification with at least 1 year work experience.

Salary
N40,000 – N50,000 monthly.
