Job Alert: Farm Manager Needed at SENCE Limited (Lagos)

We are hiring a Farm Manager to oversee operations on a small farm located in Agege, Lagos. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in vegetable crop production, pest and disease management, and modern agricultural practices.

This role is perfect for someone passionate about farming, committed to results, and capable of running day-to-day operations with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
– Manage and supervise all daily farm activities
– Plan, monitor, and oversee the cultivation of vegetable crops
– Implement innovative and sustainable farming practices: Knowledge of hydroponics is essential.
– Identify and control pests and crop diseases effectively
– Supervise farm workers and coordinate labour schedules
– Maintain farm tools, equipment, and ensure an adequate supply of inputs
– Keep accurate records of farm operations and report to management
– Understand the concept of vertical farming.

Requirements & Qualifications:
– Minimum of 4 years’ experience in crop production (especially vegetables)
– Practical knowledge of modern agricultural techniques
– Strong background in pest and disease management
– Good leadership and communication skills
– Ability to work independently and efficiently
– A degree or diploma in Agriculture or a related field is an added advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₦200,000.00 per month
